Linda Mosemann
In 2010 I retired from the PA public school system after 35 years as an art specialist and began pursuing my own art more seriously.
I work mainly in pastel because I can incorporate drawing techniques with the bold painterly marks that are characteristic of soft pastels. I strive to capture the effects of light and atmosphere in the landscape.
My work has been exhibited in shows in the tri-state area and placed in competitions hosted by the Cumberland Valley Artists at the Washington County Museum of Art, MD as well as the Franklin County Art Alliance and the Fulton County Art Council.
I have participated in workshops under pastel artists Michael Chesley Johnson, Susan Ogilvie, and Richard McKinley.
I am currently a member of the Fulton County Art Council, Franklin County Art Alliance, and the Mountain-Valley Plein Air Painters.
I maintain a studio at my residence in rural Fulton County on our dairy farm.
